View Full Version : GrabCad Concept Similar to Ponoco & 100k Garages

Interesting how the GrabCad concept is being applied to the engineering community and repetitive manufacturing in the same way that Ponoco and 100k Garages are responding to one-offs and short run.

This bodes well I think as two of the competitive advantages we have over the far east product are in efficiently produced custom work and lower shipping costs.

Personally, I think that our governments should be embarking on an extensive publicity campaign promoting the value and benefits to the consumer of custom built, custom fitted, craftsman installed, longevity, environmental/health benefits available, etc. rather than throwing all those billions ONLY at big oil, big box, big project and big promises.

They would create another bureau of compliance to go along with OSHA, ADA, and the EPA to insure we only use government approved methods of craftsmanship. :D
