First Sign, Just for fun.

Bill Palumbo always says that if you own a Shopbot sooner or later you will make a sign. Well, it took several years, but I finally had an occasion, my oldest's graduation. Made up four signs, all out of pink foam. Painted with leftover primer and paints.

I have to admit that I was very surprised by all the comments we received. The best part is that her friend is also named Arielle and graduates next year, so the signs will be reused.

Now you know how to make a real one! Go do It! Once you start making signs you can't stop.

Thanks for the encouragement. If I do any more signs I think they will be more like the cedar signs that Eric displays. After attempting to paint 4 signs with a brush and multiple colors, I can see the advantage of spraying on black paint then sanding it off the surface. It definitely seems more forgiving.
