I want to cut a female tool in some HDPE for some small fiberglass parts. can I use a 1/2" ball nose? Normally I cut HDPE with a 1/4" spiral O flute but I want the inside edges to be radiused. Will it cut, without melting, iIf I use a 1/2" ball nose at 8,000 RPM and 3 IPS? Seems like it should work okay.....
Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

I routinely cut .5" HDPE with a .5" 2 flute ball mill I am only cutting a groove .1" deep I run the bit 12000 RPM @ 2" second I get a very good finish I ramp it in for 2".
