Howdy, The red on/off button on the ShopBot computor tower doesn't seem to work. It won't stay on. It worked okay last week, now it don't work. The conections on the outside are all conected. Where can I buy a new on/off switch? Also, where exactly do I wrap the little copper ground wire to. Right now i just have it wrapped around the ShopBot blue metal frame.

Are you asking about the red rotary knob on the control box? Or the red emergency off button(s)?
What is turning off? Is this a brand new installation? Which machine?
As to the ground wire, its a good idea to ground the frame to the electrical power ground as it describes in the installation instructions. Be sure to scrape off the blue paint where you put the wire, otherwise it does no good.
Having 2 or 3 ground points on the frame is all that should be needed. Opinions on this vary widely however.

My guess is you mean on the black or white computer tower looking box that shopbot has used in the past for control boxes. If so, it's just a computer case and you should be able to get a replacement switch anyplace that sells computer power supplies or from an old computer case.

I just tore apart an old PRT Standard case. It's actually just a toggle switch. Take the old one out and bring it to radio shack to make sure yo u get the same size for the hole. Mention that it's for 120v 15 amps. They don't use the pc case start button.
