I have the opportunity to bid on producing acrylic and wood duck calls. Does anyone have a clue if it can be done on a shopbot with an indexing head? I would need to turn the outside and mill the bore.
Thanks!

Aaron,
Just my opinion BUT, I will ask "Why?" -- The 'normal' way to turn such a small item -by hand- would be to make 'octagons', cut to length, bore in jig, mount on mandrel in lathe and turn. Once the blanks were made, they would take seconds each to make.
Next step is an automated lathe......they are unbelievably fast and self-load.
