Does anyone have any creative light switch plate ideas? Specifically for 3 - 5 gang switches? I've tossed a few ideas at my wife and I keep ducking as they come back. All my ideas are too "heavy" looking. She is looking for something... well... artsy, light and tasteful. I'm pretty much out on all counts there.

Hey Robert

I am surprised by the post.

Perhaps no one has told you that wives make the second worst customers (right behind mothers). I would have bet the shop and the truck that a man of your fantastic knowledge would have learned that lesson on his own.

I have seen a bunch of laser cut not to fantastic ideas at the local Faire/Farmer Markets, but nothing of interest. I'd love to see what the community has to offer on this one.

I make them on the laser but found a place recently that I could order them premade. So we just burn the artwork on them now. Have a good order being delivered soon.

This site may give you some ideas. http://www.switchhits.com/ I would make my samples out of foam until I found something she likes.

Thanks Phil, that is what I was looking for. The ideas I get from this community are an inspiration.

I made a 5 gang once but it did not look too good for the 3 gang it replaced.
