hello all!
long time lurker, but i finally managed to score a bot within my budget! i could not be more excited with the prospects!

we will be using our bot to fabricate snowboard components (bases, wood cores, etc) as well as most of the tooling required to press them (mdf molds, cassettes, templates)
lots of surfacing and profile cutting!

my bot is an older prt (standard)48x96 with the 4g box upgrade, 5hp colombo, and it came with a 15hp vac holddown (we are not using this however, not enough 3phase around).

we had to drive to california to get it, so it was a pretty epic move (made easier by 4 trailerjacks). the only upgrades/maintenance that was needed were new pinion gears (not ordered yet) and a new fan for the spindle. we also had to get a new VFD to run the 3ph spindle on single phase.

so after a month of setup and testing i think that we have it pretty dialed in. i have started cutting parts, surfacing foam, and making some simple signs.
i hope to be a reliable contributor to the forum and would like to extend thanks to everyone whose information has gotten me to this point!
