I was cutting some dishes in MDF (15), with some little hearts inside them (Profile 1) wich are cut with one type of bit. When I stop to change the bit to cut the border of the dishes, the first pieces are normal but the cut in the next starts in other place than the expected, until the fartest piece from the origin where the cut is totally moved::mad:
My shopbot is An ALPHA 96 with the last version of software
Please, I need to cut !100 pieces ¡

Did you by chance move and or copy the vectors in different locations after you initially setup part of the job? I did this the other day. Without recalculating the toolpath i ruined some material because the vectors were moved. I was in too much of a hurry.

Fredy, can you show us a picture?
Check your unit values with the VU command - did something change from your original settings there?

Thanks a lot to all you friends, for your help. I work in milimeters, the problem is new , as you can see in the pictures included, i already cut the dishes, i did not make any change in units or vector file.
The first picture shows the wrong cut, the second the good one, and the third one shows the dish finished.
Thanks a lot again

Thanks Randy and no, I did not move or copy the vectors, the vector file has three layers, to cut the hearts, mark the lines and cut the border.First I Group the vectors, then I nest them and finally I ungroup the vectors to made the toolpaths, in this case three toolpaths because I use two diferent bits. I never has any problem until now, when iI stop the Bot to change the bit.
If you, or someone else, have any idea, I appreciate your help
Thanks in advance

Can you describe your process a bit better... do you cut several "blanks" before changing bits and doing the next step? or do you follow one part through all the tool changes without moving the part.

Sounds like maybe you are losing steps. How fast and with what bit are you doing the cutout. You might try slowing down the cut and jog speed on the cutout toolpath and see if it makes any difference.
