I am looking for a rabetting bit to remove some material from the edge of a panel. I need to remove a section of very lightweight material that would be .625" in the Z and no more than .375 to .5 deep into the material. I would like to removet he material in a single pass, on four sides. Does anyone know of a standard rabetting bit that has these characteristics? I would prefer to do this after cutting out the blank, so it would need to be a bit with bearing- preferrably a top bearing.

I have found some .5" x .375" but would prefer a taller and deeper cut into the face, if possible.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Monty

OK! Looks like I have a couple options that may work! THANKS!

One of my co-workers also found a stacked finger joint bit that looks like a dado turned on its side ( similar to the grizzly products that Curtis pointed me to.) I will be able to make something out of these work...

I appreciate you guys!
