if you are doing 3d with with a single curve direction or slope I find a straight cut bit does a much better job. Plus you don't need as smell of a stepover. 12% or more is fine. I am cutting these with a straight bit 12% stepover and at 8ips. you don't even have toolmarks to deal with.

slight curve. I have done some pretty steep cuts with the single angle with a straight bit.
