Noisey z axis

I have just set up my secondhand buddy and start to have a play.When I move the z axis it is noisey.Swapped z and y motor plugs and noise stopped.Swapped output from z to a and was noisey.Have noticed on location screen that input number 3 has green line through,Is this a clue?

What is the Z speed set to? Try to increase it to 2 IPS and see if it sounds any smoother. If it does - it is normal. It is called mid-band resonance and all steppers do it at certain speeds.

Thanks for youre repley.If I am using key board to move.What speed should I be adjusting?Motor shakes quit bad.
