HELP cut depth problem!!

I tell it to cut .2 deep
It keeps cutting .13 deep
I went back and told it to cut .25 deep. Still only .13 !!!!
I didn't change anything!
Any help...........I'm stuck

Does the screen readout say its cutting 0.25 deep? Maybe you have somehow hit the Z axis stop at 0.13?

first a picture tells us tons so post one for us to see what you are cutting. Second if you have a cut file or other you can post we could see what your settings are to see where you are making your mistake.

In your tool dialog box, what is your depth per pass set at? :confused:

is this a vcarving toolpath? If so dependng on how wide your path is the vbit is only going to go down so far to fill the width of that pass. More details are needed....
