That just proves its not always the tool that makes the job but the craftsman has a hand - oops a foot in the process! :) I also noticed that having a sharp tool also helps! :) Tnx for the post, most entertaining. Russ

The fellow down the street from the guy in the video has a Moroccan Bow Lathe with an indexer...

He is using a VFD Variable FOOT Drive
I wonder if he measures in mm's or Feet?

I see you're in the Red Stick. I'm a New Orleans boy, north of the Mason Dixon line, since 1989. I was a pretty fare antique restorer/repro guy off St. Charles Ave back when.
