Suddenly, today the post processor list for PartWorks3D is empty... PartWorks is finding its P.Ps ok. where should they be for PW3D?

I'm pretty sure the PPs will update when a newer version of SB3 is installed on that machine. If not, you can DL them directly from ShopBot Support

PW3D isn't quite as nice as PW2D in that it doesn't show the application data folder ... for me it was under C:\Program files(x86) / ShopBot / PartWorks3D / PostP... Just extract the files to that directory and all should be well!

Get's a bit messy with the likes of Vista, Windows 7 and 8 as the default User Account Control doesn't like files being written to the Program Files folder (hence the move to application folders).

Windows will create shadow copies (VirtualStore) which it refers to rather than the ones in the Program Files folder even if you update them. I had this issue a couple of times with the old versions of VCarve.
