I came across a cutting tool supplier recently that is new to me. There prices are almost too good to be true. Does anyone have experience buying from this source.

Those are amazing prices. I couldn't see anything there that said whether they were HSS or Carbide. Do you Know?

From their site - * All end mills are solid carbide."
Also interestingly, "Our Tooling is also perfect for your ShopBot, CarveWrite or CompuCarve machine! "
They also give more information for CNC useage on their other site - cnctoolsouce (http://www.cnctoolsource.com/), but it appears to be their custom bit site.
I'd certainly be interested in knowing how well these work and hold up.

It appears their primary customers are the metal cnc folks (you can download their catalog) as none of their literature or products show items with 'up cut', 'down cut', or 'compression'. Their prices are in line with other suppliers of metal working cnc end mills, however they have a lot of ball nose bits that I have NOT seen from the metal folks. Also a lot of the smaller detail bits.
Good find, thanks for posting, my order is in for some ball nose stuff (tapersed for pattern making) and will give a report when they arrive. Russ

It looks like they also do "CARBIDE END MILL and HI-PERF. DRILL SHARPENING & RECONDITIONING"

I did order a bunch of tooling from cuttingtoolsource.com. Good stuff. I spent this past weekend cutting a bunch of MDF and Hickory. Bits survived really well. Still cutting clean. I called and talked to this guy. I like the attitude. I like the tooling. I like the service. I really like the prices.
In my opinion, this is a great place to buy tooling.

Contact is Nick - very helpful. He will send overseas via USPS. All you do is put a comment in the dialogue box as he does not charge until shipped. For those interested in saving big bucks on freight Tools Today and of course Fred at Centurian also ship USPS. Delivery times to Australia is usually better than 10 days. Rather oddly Hersaff wont even answer emails from Australia. Carbide Processors will ship USPS but want an horrific $76. Magnate will also ship USPS. Hope this saves other botters spending hours on research!
