Municipal Eagle

On this job I was challenged to reproduce an eagle located at the top a government building and use it on the ground sign. The sign is aluminum and the eagle is HDU. It's almost impossible to get the crispness of the original without handwork. Still, it's lots of fun.

This type of architecture was what got me interested in buying a shopbot in the first place. Where I live we have some beautiful historical statues and I wanted to copy them. I soon realized it wasn't as easy as taking a picture and feeding it into the shopbot and having something come out. So the reproduction looks great Gary and Joe:D
