I came in today to run the Shopbot and ran into a problem. If I attempt to jog any axis, I get "Proximity Limits Reached". It suggest I manually move off the limits and proceed, but the error returns. I notice that "input" 2 & 3 are yellow and nothing I do clears them. The machine worked fine last week. Any suggestions?

see what limit switch lights up the little red light on it . then check the wire for that switch . or temporary disconnect them on the control board , run it and see if the error happens again .It could be that the wire is damaged or the limit switch itself .

Thanks for the responses. After further digging into the problem, I discovered that my configuration file(s) were corrupted. I ran the "Shopbot Setup" utility and found that it was set to the wrong type of machine (PRSalpha and I have a PRTalpha). My input values were all messed up too. We have has a lot of power issues here and I suspect them as the cause. Once I went through and set things back, I was up and running.

Denny...
Once you get your machine set the way you like it, follow these steps and next time you will be up and running in a few minutes: http://www.shopbotblog.com/index.php/2011/09/the-5-minute-software-fix/
