Hi,
We are cutting triple walled polycarbonate and getting little "strings" along the vertical braces. We have tried some different cutting speeds 1-3 and they all seem to be giving more less the same result. We didn't know if this could be avoided by changing the bit or rpm?

-I read on the message board to cut plastics with the super O bit at 9,000 rpm.

-Possibly instead of running the bit outside right run it outside left?

this is more/less the material structure below, .65 thick, made up of thin walls.

Greenhouse glazing?...If so, it is a little tricky with each layer being so thin (webbing) - I would turn up the RPM to the 13-15000 RPM range and MS .9 to 1.5 IPS with a single spiral-o.

Brady,

Its not for a greenhouse but the same type of material. I'll try increasing the rpms, we were afraid of melting.

Thanks!,
