Is there any tricks out there to help make getting into tight places for decorations, and lettering easier? Or maybe a special tool?

If you are using vcarvepro or aspire, you can select parts of your file and resend using a 60 degree or Gary Beckwiths 30 degree v-bit to deepen and improve the looks of you cuts...

This is the easiest way that I have found. I do all the Vcarve cutting on the ShopBot and then let my girlfriend do the painting. Looks great when she is done and it all ways turns out perfect!:D
On smooth surfaces you might try Gerbers paint mask. For rough lumber I like the rubber cement technique. I'll be posting a step by step on the Vcarve forum.

Sounds like a good idea, but wait, don't have a girl friend. Maybe I need to get one.

Put the paint mask on before you carve?

My girl friend won't stand still when I try to pit the paint mask on her.

Hi Joe
What font / bit did you use in your picture??
Thanks
olf20 / Bob
Sorry for being so late to respond to your question.
The font is LHF Boston Truck and the bit was a 120 degree from Gerber.
