All of us have our favorite way to advertise and this is my favorite. I guess this is the only type of advertising I'm doing. With my little HP printer I make up a half dozen of these at a time to give to my prospective customers. The reason for such a small printing, I change the photo's up all the time. If it's a horse ranch I've been invited to visit, the pix will change. But it really doesn't make much difference.
The real advantage, it seems to me, is to let the customer know you have the skills and history. I think a page left behind is better than a business card.
I keep a few pages in my motorcycle saddle bags. On the weekends, when I'm investigating "Oklahoma Ghost Towns", I leave a few of these behind in the mail boxes of farms and ranches. I scribble out a little note to them. It only takes a call or two from this type customer to make it worth the effort. This is easy picking since there isn't any competition.
