So, I am on a kick to see what else I can make from 12mm Baltic Birch and my Buddy.
My poor dog Gibson was eating off a stand I threw together a few years ago when I got him, just something quick I did up to see if he liked it and never made anything better.
Last night while lying in bed watching TV, I drew this up in Aspire, and cut it out this morning when I went to work. I was working in the spray room all day, so I threw on a few coats of clear post cat lacquer (conversion varnish) to make it easy to clean and water resistant.
Gibson seems to like it! He is a tall Hungarian Vizsla, taller than most (his parents were both big). These dogs eat better with raised food and water dishes, keeps their stomachs from twisting. The wife says it looks good too.
I LOVE how simple things like this are, with the CNC. Did I mention I am having a blast with the machine? :)
