I've been getting an 'error code 11, failed to open' when attempting to open a couple .crv files. I have Partworks 2.5

I am afraid that I don’t have any knowledge of receiving a report of our customer’s regarding this problem.
How are you saving the toolpaths to your machine tool?
You can’t load the *.crv file. What you need to do is to save the toolpath strategies with a post processor file and load the code onto the control software or driver of your machine tool.

I have at least 100 other files that I've either created or downloaded that load flawlessly.
