My partworks and partworks 3d have different tool selections. How do I make them the same? The partworks 3d and SB3 both have a file that says tool.tool_db with different file sizes. I cannot find where partworks is getting it's tool information.
Any suggestions?

Partworks 3D stores it's tool database in the same directory that the program is installed on.
The latest versions of partworks stores it's database in a central area. You can find that by clicking on the file menu and clicking Open Application Data Folder.
With the newer versions of the SB3 software you can use the ToolDatabase_locations.txt file that is stored within the Vectric data area to point to the same database for the previewer and the latest versions of PartWorks/Aspire/VCarve.

Adrian,
Thanks for the answer
I do not have this file "ToolDatabase_locations.txt" on my hard drive.
I do not have a tool database folder anywhere in the partworks folder. I do in the others.
I do not understand "clicking on the file menu and clicking Open Application Data Folder."

Adrian,
I figured out what you were talking about. I am not the brightest sometimes.
Thanks a bunch.
