Finally got my hands on an SB router Mount. It's off of a buddy so I had to remove the plate for the PRT Z. While the machine is down i was considering switching my z axis around. Having the Z motor on the same side as the Y motor. In my head it's telling me that it would be better to have it mounted as close to the drive system as possible. It would also get my DC foot and pipe on the backside of the router rather then the front and out of the way for bit changes.

(dreaming of a Kent Dust Shoe)

It makes no difference which side it is mounted on, provided that you are able to get full travel in -X and +X. Mine is mounted with the Z motor on the side of the Y motor...which is how you have to mount it if you have 2 Zs.

Putting a rack and another motor on the Prt gantry sure makes a diff in cut quality.
