I've tried searching through the forum, but I was wondering if anybody had experience cutting OSB on a regular basis (or at all), and what type/style of bit that you used?
I've had my SB for over 6 years now, and I don't think I've ever had occasion to cut OSB.

Thanks,

Matt

A compression spiral from Centurion is probably best, although I have cut a ton of it with a 2-flute end mill or straight. I didn't get as much top fuzz or vertical chip out as I thought I was going to get.

Try it for yourself and see what works best...that material is so cheap - who cares if you eat up some of it testing.

Put the smooth side down if using vacuum hold down.

Matt,
Just cut 7 sheets worth for a neighbor and found a 3/8 two flute freud did perfectly fine. Surprised how well vac held considering rough surface, though I did as Brady advised and cut rough face up. Selected 2 flute rather than spiral, as more garbage lands in these uber-cheap panels, so I did not want to wreck a fresh spiral bit.
