customer can't fix it so it will import right. the text works but the logo comes n as concentric circles.

Had trouble opening too but tried a workaround and have saved as pdf file.

He sent me a pdf but still the same problems. but you can sure try.

that's sure better. the text is not needed it works well. sometimes I can tell the customer what to do but no clue on this one.

Have send a crv file to your email address - when I tried to upload file it can back invalid file. The joys of computers! Hope it works.

When working with files from AI, you "must" get rid of all fills and color blends.
For this for you should have only the outline of the logo with no color fill.
Obviously the concentric circles are from the color blend used and it is imbedded in a mask.
Undo the mask, kill the blend and keep only the outline.
Also, when for example you import a text object (converted to outlines), if you do not remove the fill, you will end-up with two paths on top of each other.
