My uncle bought his ShopBot for making doors. He made a few for a log cabin owner here locally. After he passed away, I bought the ShopBot from my aunt. I just got an order for a couple of these doors that my uncle had previously made, so I thought I better do a smaller version to get some pointers before cutting into the real thing...Anyways, this is a 1/2 scale version of the real thing.

Well, I'm proud of him, I can tell ya.

On the final work be sure the wood is at least 2.2" thick or they may warp or crack.

Okay Joe, I need more explaining than that...2.2"? What makes that the magical #? A fee of my uncles doors did warp and I've been trying to think up better ways to build them...the best advice I have received so far, that my unce doors didn't have, i to reverse grain for each board...Thanx for any help...
