When I change bits......the C2 command will stop, and won't let it zero.
It goes down maybe once.....if it reads the first try....the 2nd will freeze and quit......loose com screw up my xy zero :( $#!t

What's wrong ............Every time I need to change bits.....I just hope it works!
This is an ongoing problem........Thanks for any help John www.signgraphics1.com (http://www.signgraphics1.com/)

I was having that problem and Frank told me to do a UR to reset my default settings.

I just had this issue also. Went down touched the plate and froze up. I didn't loose XY but I had to manually jog the Z up 2" and redo it. It worked the second time. Kind of a freak thing for me.

I've had the same problem- for me it was the wire to the Z-zero plate itself that started breaking down. I could only zero every few tries, but I eventually cut the wire shorter, put a new ring terminal on it, and put a few layers of heat-shrink tubing over it to hold it together. Haven't had the problem since.

This started happening to me a couple of weeks ago. Bit would hit the zzero plate, stop but the control panel said it was still trying to push down because the Z location number kept incrementing even though the Z was not going any lower. No rhyme or reason - just a Shopbot brain fart of some sort.

I attached my grounding clip to a system ground wire. Then ran a ground wire from that same point directly to the plate that the spindle attaches to. Problem solved. No more C2 zzeroing brain farts. This has worked perfectly with SBLink zeroing as well as zeroing to top of material.

I have this happen occasionally but only if I stop the cutting (space bar, s, estop) before the tool change. Turn everything off and back on again and all is good with the world.
