How do you tell cast acrylic from extruded acrylic ?

and how can a slightly scratched piece of acrylic be cleaned up ?

well not always but usually extruded is 1/4" or under and tends not have other then paper on the faces. cutting it is the best way to know. to get rid of the scratch depends on how deep you need to find the right grit to sand it out then work up to very fine grit then buffing it out. a reap pain depending on the depth.
