I have decided to start making signs.. I contacted signfoam.com...
They are the rudest people i have meet. I asked if they had a catalog there replay was no.. I asked if they had a price sheet they e-mailed back contact a distributor...
I do not recommend anyone using them...
I had no clue that they made the product.
They could have directed me to one of their distributors.
I will not use their product at all over their rudeness.

My experience with sign foam and their distributors also... Totally the opposite response when I called the precision foam factory! Likely who you use will boil down to shipping costs... Good luck.

Could you give me precision foams link..
No i will pay more if i have to not to use sign foam.. I do not deal with rude companies... If they can not treat me with respect and deal with me correctly they do not get my money or recommendations at all.

I know that at Rob's Indiana Sign camp Joe Crumley was recommending DUNA. Here is his post from the 3D Sign Forum-
"Hello everyone,
For the past two years I've been encouraging my local sign supply to stock Duna HDU. Friday was good news day. Reece Sign Supply is now a dealer.
For those who aren't familiar with this brand, it stands away from the competition. First off 15lb is comparable to 20lb in any other brand. And if you can't afford 30lb, their 20lb is in that field. Another outstanding quality, no longer do you have that gritty stuff. What we're all after is good detail at a comparative price without the grit.
What about price? Good news there also. Right now it's priced below Sign Foam and Precision board. There boards come in colors. Light blue is the 15lb and 20lb is orange. That mean we know whats in stock with a quick glance.
The seocnd in quality for us is Sign Foam. We gave up on Precision Board two years ago. It' not allowed in the shop. Too soft and gritty.
Happy routing
Joe Crumley"
I personnally don't know much about foam, but after meeting and talking with Mr. Crumley I have no doubt that he does...

Yep - Duna 'Corafoam' is the way to go. Everything that Joe says about it is true. SF3 is over-priced, and Precision board below 20# density isn't even a consideration - it is junk in my opinion.
I get Duna from Pioneer Supply in Pennsauken, NJ - they also have a place in Pittsburgh, PA.
This (http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14464) was done in Duna.

I use this place for foam - www.foamandfoam.com - not sure about sign foam but they have a lot of different types of foam
That's a wild goose chase. Why post on something that's not a good lead.
Over the years we've seen statements "I've heard this technique works great" only to find out the person posting had no idea what they were talking about. Once again we have another lead with a dead end.
The standard is, If you don't know, for sure, don't post!

are you ordering a pick up or a semi?
When last I checked the min. order was 7k. With that size order they pay the shipping.
Happy routing and keep on learning.
