I am building a drawer base (3 or 4 drawers) the customer has requested stile and rail raised panel drawers . I have made plenty of doors but never a raised panel drawer.
can anyone suggest the minimum height to make the raised panel look ok?

I like 8 inches, 2 inch rails and a four inch panel.

Hope all is well in sunny Florida!

Bruce is right on.Just a thought,if your top drawer is too narrow I would make
left and right stiles 2" (consistent with the usually wider bottom drawers).
The top and bottom rails could be 1" or so to allow for a decent center panel.
