2nd try posting this. Made these wall hangers on the Bot. They have a luan skeleton, 1/8" birch back and 3/16" hardwood face. The graphics are pocketed into the face. The plans I found on a surf board building forum and scaled them down to 48". I machine a crude form made from curved cdx ply ribs to laminate the top and bottom to the frame. I modeled the grab rail in aspire and sliced it into 3 parts. This helped make the bent along the length of the board. I made a second clamping form to glue up the rail to the board. There was some good old shaping done on the rail to finish them up. The mounting panels are Mahogany 1/2" ply with Bot machined acrylic clips a key holes on the back. Maybe one day I will make a full size version.

Just how large are the waves in your part of Ohio? http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/images/icons/icon6.gif

I see your point. Sometimes Lake Erie kicks up 12' waves, but I may need a sail to get around. :D
