What is the best way to keep track of income and expenses in a sign business etc.

Ray, I'll second the nomination on Quicken Deluxe, Not expensive and once you get it set up it is really easy to handle the "Paper Work" Right through the taxes at the end of the year.

What about if i want to file all the info. from the previous year will it prepare the paper work to do the taxes this year?

Ray,
I use Quick Books Pro, and Estimate Sign pricing software.
If you are in then US Quick books will import the Estimate Data into quick books. If your in Canada you have to re-enter invoices.
