Australia Post have realised that there is a mint to be made from overseas parcels. They have established their own depot in the States. An early adopter of the new system is Amazon - great spot for cutters etc. We bought a couple of one litre Titebond 3 glue. Freight cost $8.70. But it came in 5 working days and we are outside the metropolitan area. The system is called iParcel. Be careful with Amazon that what you are buying is stocked by them and not coming from outside - Whiteside cutters for instance or it will cost heaps more. We found this out the hard way with clock inserts. It even has tracking and there are options for faster delivery. UPS etc to Australia is $60 to $90 for small packets. Rockler using USPS is around $35 to $38.
