It's a half inch single flute upcut spiral. The chipload calculator says I should be running this bit at 1.86IPS, that seems way to fast to my inexperienced self. Any words of wisdom here? I'd rather not trash a hundred dollar bit because I was going to fast or too slow and I haven't learned to trust the math yet. My depth of cut should be 0.040"ish, yes?
Thanks for any advice!

Well for anyone that was curious, it worked great! I decided to trust the damn math and it worked great. To the point where actually I think my pass depth may have been set too conservatively, but it worked excellently and pocketed out the aluminum in a third of the time as the 65-026. Highly recommended.
