Colombo 3hp spindle bearings

Does anyone have the bearing part #'s available for a 3hp Colombo spindle (model # RS 73.2 max RPM 24,000). I've contacted Ekstrom-Carlson, but they can't sell me bearings unless I pull my spindle apart and give them the part #'s. I can't have my bot down that long, too much work coming through right now.

Any help would be appreciated.

Call the folks at Alpine Bearing. They're fairly knowledgeable about replacement bearings for the Colombo spindles.

That's their branch in Anaheim. You'll probably get faster results that from the one in Massachusetts...

Brett, thanks for the lead. They didn't know the part #'s either, but they did have some really helpful advice.... Look in the manual, DOH!

So I found the numbers, and ordered the bearings. About $350 before shipping. I went with non-ceramic, as that's what the manual called for. They have ceramic in stock as well, about $100 more.
