Just moved to the Cincinnati area about 2 months ago, got a shop location about 2 weeks ago and now have the Bot up and almost ready for the spoilboard. Just have no idea where to go to get what i need. I would love to get trupan but had alot of problems getting it in Phoenix so will settle for Ultra Light.

If anybody reading this also knows other places of interest around town that would be great. I am looking for:

Lumber suppliers both sheets and hardwood
sign material suppliers
plastic
used machinery place (really would love to pick up my DC ducting used and save a few bucks)
hardware (nuts , bolts, and other such fasteners)
Casters (real ones not the stuff the peddle at the depot)
and anything else that could be usefull that may have slipped my mind.
It feels good getting back to work and plowing through the challanges associated with the shop bot.

In 2010, I drove to Wissmann Brothers in Independence, KY (just south of Cincinnati), and they sold me what they said was Trupan Ultra Lite, but it had no markings on the edge. According to the Trupan rep, its not Trupan. It looks just like Trupan and machines like it. It worked well for some lightweight molds I was making for a customer. Never tried it as a vacuum bleeder board.

I get real Trupan from Aetna Plywood in Indianapolis, ask for Marty Baker.

Hi Joel,

I live across the river in KY. I just purchased a used PRT Shobot and I am looking for the same things you are.

I will let you know if I find anything.

I live in Northern Ky and I have found Ultra Light MDF at Wissmann Brothers in Independence (859-371-5225) 18mm (3/4") for $40.68 + tax and also at DSI in Sharonville. DSI has to bring it in from Cleveland and it takes about a week. Single sheet $38.10 or 3 sheets for $34.76 ea.

Hope this helps.
