Has anybody had any luck with putting a company or personal stamp on pieces that are being produced in large quantities? sort of as a way of labeling and or advertising on there pieces. Is there some what to hook up an ink stamp or something similar to a spindle and use that to place your name and info on large numbers of pieces with out having to engrave it which would be tie consuming?

I carved a brass brand on the shopbot and use it.

I just heat mine with a torch, but for higher production there are electric elements that fit in a drill press.

Not sure what quality you want... Seems like you could set up a self inking stamp on an air drill module.

Thank you very much for your suggestions. any ideas where we could get a stamp made that might easily go into an air drill or can easily be modified to? We are looking at stamping up to 200 pieces a run and would rather use a stamp rather than a brand for safety reasons.

Not having an air drill, I'm not 100% clear on how I would do an attachment... it would likely involve duct tape for proof of concept trials!

A videojet printer should be pretty easy to incorporate onto a second z.

We used these in industry quite a bit. Would just need to move at a pre determined speed and a certian z height and trigger it with an output.
