First time cutting Duna.

I'm getting ready to cut my first sign out of Duna. To all you foam guys out there is there a need for a ruffing pass when cutting foam or can I just jump right to the finishing pass. I'm cutting a little over 3/8's deep with a 1/4" ball. Thanks in advance!:)

For such light passes you could get by without the rough out. Is the 1/4"ball your final tool?
