Is there a way to get the RPM control tool to start automatically when opening the SB3 software?

Gene...
From the Console:
Type in [T][R] to open the controller window
Move and size to your preferences
Place your mouse pointer over the "RPM" text and double click
Make sure all the settings are proper for your setup
ESPECIALLY the "Start when SB3 starts" is set to "1"

Should all work the way you wish now.

I hope something this simple gets done better in the next release. We are working in a point-and-click environment after all..:D

I talked to shopbot about the spindle not showing the correct speed and I had the wrong VFD selected. They told me that they ship different VFDs with each machine and set the software up for the most common.

The big trap when you are not aware of this is on HSD it defaults to 6235 RPM as shipped, which can give worrying results for beginners. It certainly fooled us for a couple of months. Another good reason to have official SB3 videos.
