Here is pictures of the new hair skirt for the shop bot...
It keeps all the fine blue foam going to the dust collection system... Check out the fish...

Is this from ShopBot or Kent CNC?

Mr. Baynes: I ordered them from shop bot... they come with no holes what i did was take the old skirt and mark my holes and drilled them... then with the tape that comes on the hair skirt I attached it and screwed it into place just like the old skirt.
works great... you can see there is no mess with the blue foam while it was running... my dust collection system picked it up very well and the hair does not scratch the foam.

I ordered a 3' length of brush from McMaster, and used the plastic skirt as a drilling template. It didn't pick up as much debris afterward, so I put the tattered plastic skirt inside the brish skirt... works pretty good now...
Now I think I may investigate some of these other dust foot designs....

All this talk about hair and fish, i thought it would be be curly:eek:
If you wanted to be cheap why not go to the dollar store and get that pack of 3 paint brushes for a dollar. You could make you own whole skirt for 2 bucks!:D
