Does anyone have experience in cutting Sintra. We have a large project that calls for a lot of cutting from 3/4" Sintra. Any bit info and speeds and feeds would be appreciated.

I hope you have a source for 3/4" Sintra... my suppliers only have it in 6 and 12 mm. If perhaps you are actually referring to another material the answers will be very different!

I cut 3/4 and 1 inch sintra / komatex/ komacel/ celtex all the time. I use a single flute upcut depending on the size .25 or .125 bits I get the .25 from gerber scientific it is their gold line. The .125 I get from ebay from the seller smpart they I get .125 x 32mm and .125 x 17. I run at 10000 and 4.5 IPS

Does Azec cut in a similar fashion as Sintra?

it's not super important what bit I worry more about the parts staying in place. it will lift off the table fairly easily so I tend to use a straight bit to keep the parts in place. I also do a climb cut so any shaving stick to the scrap. 2 ips 8k works well for the most part.
