Cutting MDF Banned

Interesting one from down here in Australia. In Victoria you cant cut MDF inside a new building construction site, without full dust extraction/HEPA filtering any more. We aren't at all consistent though as you can buy toilet chemicals based on formaldehyde for camping toilets, readily over the counter. We have moved our dust collection outside the building. The air is definitely nicer in the workshop now! I might live another five years!

When I was working construction on "Last Dance" we sent two guys to the hospital with pnuemonia. They had been routing mdf and were not wearing dust protection. the dust collected the water and boom, they were sick in the hospital.
