Tool Path Only Cuts Inside

I've wasted all day trying to do just a basic cut out, however no matter what I do I can only cut inside the the drawen part. I checked the software version its 3.6.44 Control Software Versiosn. When it loads it showes a failed code 5. I tried to reload it same issue.

Going to Parts Works-Help-Check Software, it indicates my software is up to date.

I redrew the part and it now works, I have no idea what the issue is. Thanks for replying Brady, I'm not sure how post the file. I haven't done much SB, it starting all over each time I use it.
