I am looking for a few pieces of Osage Orange around 6ft long to make bows. Does anyone have a source where I could pick up some? I'm out here in Montana, so pretty rare wood around here.
Thanks

Try to find a local woodturners group. I know when i was going to our meetings regularly we had silent auctions and guys would bring in pieces of it all the time for bowl making.
The idea being that they might have a good source of it cheaper then buying it from a wood supplier.
I see "bows" not "bowls"(my reference) point being they might have bigger pieces that would work for your purpose.

Here's a link to a fellow who sells billets and staves and also makes the bows.
