I seem to run into this problem with the extrude and two rail sweep.
I guess I have a mental block with these tools.
I'm trying to get the grey area on the outside of the oval to taper by .25
Every attempt seems to leave the taper below the surface.
Are there any good tutorials on these tools?
Thanks Brian

Brian - I use Rhino and RhinoCAM - and I would probably run a FilletEdge along the outside and then type a radius. The other - maybe easier way - is to use a Plunge Roundover bit on the outside profile - which, if I'm understanding your issue correctly, achieves the same thing (unless of course - your trying to send a pic to your client of what the final product will look like.)

Brian, it sounds like your missing the height legs on your profile vector or you are extruding the profile to the wrong side.
Your User Guide that you should have received when you purchase AC has a section on 2-rail, Extrude, spin and turn. Then depending on which version of AC you can load the tutorials via the tutorial sidebar.
youtube.com/user/delcamartcam will give you video tutorials as well and general youtube search AC also have some good video's.
for specific help I would recommend your ArtCam reseller for a little training, theres nothing like the real thing ;)

Thanks
Gary just showing me the cross section of the taper tells me what I'm doing wrong.
I have mild dyslexia so applied reading is sometimes difficult.
