Partworks question

I have recently acquired an older BT with late 2007 version 1.006 Partworks.
I have been playing with the trial version of Aspire and Vcarve pro so I have
seen the more modern versions. It seems to me that the major thing I am
missing is the prism carving capability. I can upgrade thru SB for $200 to
what I am told is the same program as Vcarve Pro- which would solve my
problem... I think. My question is... is the latest Partworks software exactly
the same as Vc P? For instance my Pworks has a different interface from the
Vectric program. But most importantly does it for sure have prism carve.

All the functions that are in V carve pro and in partworks, EXCEPT that there is only post processors for the shopbot. That is the only difference between the programs.
