Underneath my bot with an air gun putting some torque on the table top hold down bolts (there are a bunch of those things), when the UPS fellow honked his horn and I bonked my head. We will save that for another story.

SO I crawled out from under the bot and he handed me 4 boxes, Yeah!! I love the UPS guy......He always brings me good stuff.

So I open the boxes and to my wondering eyes did appear 4, count em 4 of these! (See Below)

Ok, so now what??

I say I am a visual learner, my wife says I am dyslexic and Brady just thinks I am an idiot, either way does anybody have any real world pictures of how they have set up a 4 zone vac system on a 48x96?

Thanks
David

...Brady just thinks I am an idiot

I think most people on this rock are idiots, so don't think you're getting special treatment :D

There is a ton of information on this board, with plenty of pictures. There are also Web Columns (http://www.shopbottools.com/mpeople/webcolumns.htm) on the main ShopBot website with plenty of pics using those motors (Ed Lang (http://www.shopbotblog.com/index.php/2008/02/eds-ugly-one-hour-vacuum-source/) comes to mind here, as does Gary Campbell, here (http://www.shopbotblog.com/index.php/category/garys-musings/) and here (http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11813)). Follow the links and see what configuration makes the most sense for the work you will be doing. It's all been posted before, all you have to do is look for it.

I think I have most of it figures out, except the manifold thingy. I am looking at the widley distributed but seldom read Shopbot users guide, and the actual plumbing looks pretty easy. Then you get into ball valves vs standard valves, power for the motors, etc....

I am learning, asking a lot of dumb and often asked questions, but I am almost there. I am going to cut the plenum tomorrow. I have the table bolted down and the MDF plenum board glued on. I was thinking of using 1.25 inch drywall screws from the bottom of the table to the plenum, reckon that would give enough room for the plenum to be cut.?
