I think it is supposed to turn your regular router into a auto change router?

This is a tapping chuck. It's used with a mill to tap holes. If you're looking for a QC you should be able to adapt this depending on your router diameter.

The Midwest device that Gene refers to is pretty much as good as it gets by a long shot when it comes to tool changer prices. They indicate that you need to add a couple of lines of code to each file or tool path so not quite plug and play. My gut say's that a tool changer may be overkill for an upgraded PR but that's not an expert opinion.

Your gut is not telling you the truth. :D:D:D

I really don't think I will be buying one but there is no reason why it would not be good for the PR...?
