I'm thinking about getting a Desktop unit and in doing some reading I saw mention of some of the accessories like an indexer and 3d printhead but i couldn't find anything specific about those options and prices?

I know the indexer is available because the demo showed it in action and i assumed that the 3d printhead might not be available yet but i'd like to find out prices on the indexer and what the printhead might go for when it is available.

I also wonder if i should go with a larger Buddy instead? I have a small room in my basement that i'd like to be able to use for a workshop for smaller stuff in the winter rather then warming the whole big shop.

Jack, let us know what the pricing and capacity is on the little indexer if you get it. Also, be sure you're going by the new price list on the Buddy, it went up this week.

I know it might be right in front of me but i couldn't find a link with a description, also any info on the printhead accessory? I had seen a blurb somewhere in the past but could not re find it. What i'm interested in is which unit might give me the best ability for upgrading or expanding it's capabilities. (like with the printhead)

They had the 3D print head on the web site but removed it. I was looking at it too. I called ShotBot about another issue, and asked about the 3D print head and was told it was put on hold for now as they have other things they needed to work on. So I went out and bought a small 3D printer for me and my grandson for Christmas.
